Devin Haney’s father & manager, Bill Haney, has signaled interest in a rematch with Ryan Garcia. Bill says Garcia must enroll in drug testing within 48 hours for a rematch with Devin to happen. That’s just one thing that Ryan (24-1, 20 KOs) would have to agree to, but there’s expected to be a lot more.

Garcia hasn’t responded to Bill’s demands for immediate enrollment in VADA, but he’ll likely agree because he’ll want to show that he has nothing to hide.

Moreover, Garcia is interested in proving to the boxing world that he can beat the former two-division world champion Haney while testing negative of drugs. Last April, Ryan tested positive for the banned PED Ostarine after his 12 round majority decision win over Haney. The victory was later overturned by the New York State Athletic Commission and changed to a no-contest.

That made Devin happy but did nothing to change the memories of the fans who witnessed Ryan’s one-sided domination, which saw Haney dropped three times and seemingly saved by the referee in the seventh when he was badly hurt.

Bill posted on Instagram Live, telling fans that Ryan must sign up for the drug testing within 48 hours. The way Bill was talking made it clear that he felt he and Devin were the A-side. That might not sit too well with the superstar Ryan Garcia, who is arguably the most popular fighter in the U.S. He’s clearly more famous than Gervonta Davis.

Garcia expressed interest in fighting Haney (31-0, 15 KOs) again last weekend, and he says he’s training now to be ready for when that fight happens.  That’s the biggest money fight for both of them, as there are many fans that want to see the two meet after their clash earlier this year on April 20th at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
