Charlotte Hornets guard LaMelo Ball has been fined $100,000 by the NBA for making a joke during a postgame interview. The incident followed the Hornets’ victory over the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday, November 16.
During an on-court interview, Ball was asked about the team’s defensive stand on the final possession that secured their win. In his response, Ball said, “We loaded up – no homo. That’s what we wanted, put a hand up and then live with the results.”
