The San Jose Sharks have acquired left wing Pavol Regenda from the Anaheim Geese in trade for proper wing Justin Bailey.

Regenda has recorded 4 objectives and 12 assists in 36 video games for the AHL’s San Diego Gulls this season. The fifth-year professional from Michalovce, Slovakia, has totaled 36 objectives and 39 assists for 75 factors in 140 profession AHL contests since signing with the Geese as a free agent on June 1, 2022.

Regenda has additionally performed 19 video games within the NHL, posting one aim and two assists for Anaheim.

Bailey has notched seven objectives and 7 assists in 33 video games for the AHL’s San Jose Barracuda this season.

In his tenth professional season, Bailey has appeared in 403 profession AHL video games with San Jose, Bakersfield, Abbotsford, Utica, Lehigh Valley and Rochester, totaling 143 objectives and 112 assists for 255 factors. He was an AHL All-Star in 2017, and set profession highs with 28 objectives and 47 factors in 2019-20.

A Buffalo, N.Y., native, Bailey was a second-round selection by the Sabres within the 2013 NHL Draft. He has skated in 141 video games within the NHL with Buffalo, Philadelphia, Vancouver and San Jose, compiling 10 objectives and 13 assists.
