Alejandro Garnacho wins Premier League Goal of the Season

Alejandro Garnacho has been awarded the Premier League Goal of the Season, for his spectacular effort against Everton.

Manchester United lifted the FA Cup! It was a stunning performance from Erik ten Hag’s men, during a game in which they were the better side and they absolutely deserved the result. A real breath of fresh air for the supporters, following a pretty tough season.

The celebrations would have continued long into the night no doubt, while for one player, another accolade has followed. Alejandro Garnacho has been named the Premier League Goal of the Season winner, after his spectacular effort against Everton earlier in the campaign.

Overhead kicks are few and far between. His was truly unbelievable given he had to re-position himself to strike the ball cleanly. To find the top corner in such acrobatic style is a rarity, though it just shows you exactly how talented this young man is.

To score that goal, during a time where United were under genuine pressure, deserves immense credit. He’s led the way this season, along with his pal Kobbie Mainoo, showing the older lads the way during times of difficulty. Long may that continue. It’s the United Way after all.

For Garnacho, the sky truly is the limit. He’s loving being a member of this team. We’re loving watching him every week. If United can keep his feet firmly on the ground (except when he’s scoring overhead kicks!), this club have a real gem on their hands for the next decade-plus.
