Andre Onana is the sole Man United star named in the latest BBC Team of the Week, after a quality outing vs Crystal Palace.
Manchester United were eventually held to a 0-0 draw against Crystal Palace on Saturday evening, during an exciting game that probably deserved more goals.
Erik ten Hag will no doubt have been encouraged by the overall performance, though disappointed by the result as the Red Devils created some excellent openings.
However, Crystal Palace definitely threatened late on, with the fans having Andre Onana to thank for preserving a third clean sheet in a week.
For his performance, Onana was the sole United star named in the latest BBC Team of the Week by Troy Deeney.
The ex-Watford striker labelled Onana’s performance ‘miles better’ than David Raya’s recent Champions League exploits, adding that the man from Cameroon was ‘top drawer’.

Honestly, that double save late on was incredible. I’m not quite sure how he managed to get up quickly enough to make that second save, though you could tell by his United teammates’ reactions just how much it meant to the lads. It truly was special.
However, I’m not sure about this pick. I love Onana, but up the other end, former United man Dean Henderson was equally as good, if not better. The Englishman was tested far more times than Onana was, so I fully expected to see his name in between the sticks in this team.
That said, this is another confidence-booster for Onana, who has started the season in great form after some doubters in among the United fanbase about the ex-Inter shot-stopper.
Well done, Andre!
