Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards recently told NBA TV that he can definitely win the MVP award with where the organization’s currently at.

(via Bleacher Report):

Sam Mitchell: “I know the overall goal is to compete to win a championship, but what personal goals do you have? All the talk now is that the best players in the NBA now from Europe, and our talk is [Jayson] Tatum, yourself, Jaylen Brown, other young American players. Do you feel like, Anthony Edwards, now this is not talking about an NBA championship… Do you feel like you have the game to be MVP of this league one day?”

Edwards: “Hell yeah. For sure. No question. And that’s what I’m going for, man. At this point, ain’t nothing else to go for. I got a great team. I got no excuses to win games. Great coaching staff. Great organization. Now it’s on me to make it happen, so I’m definitely going for it.”
