Often, during the week of Thanksgiving, we will post a story about a person or people in the American field hockey community who have special reason to give thanks during the holidays.
But in the last week, there was a story posted about Megan Valzonis, a forward for the U.S. Olympic women’s field hockey team, on the USA Field Hockey website. It was a story about faith, tragedy, rebirth, and reward. And, ultimately, giving thanks.
