Sharpshooter Buddy Hield was super excited to find out that the Golden State Warriors acquired him in a sign-and-trade earlier this month (traded by the Philadelphia 76ers as part of a six-team deal/GSW sent Philly a 2031 second-round pick).
(via Golden State Warriors):
“When I heard it was a sign-and-trade, I was ecstatic. I just know for years that the Warriors was a team I always wanted to play for. The way they move the ball, they’re always in championship caliber mode, and just to learn from guys like Steph [Curry] and Draymond [Green] and Steve [Kerr] and Andrew [Wiggins], because I admire the way they approach the game. I just want to be a part of that and see what it’s like to be on this side.”
