Indiana Fever/X

Indiana Fever rookie Caitlin Clark, confronted with ongoing hatred and anti-white racist attacks, reflects on her rapid ascent to fame. She acknowledges that, despite the spotlight and attention she receives, she doesn’t see herself as a celebrity.

Clark explains that fame hasn’t changed the way she approaches life or how she sees herself. She still enjoys doing everyday things, like shopping for candles at the store – especially fall-scented ones like spice candles.

“It’s all happened so fast … I don’t feel famous,” Clark said. “I don’t feel like a celebrity. That’s not the way I approach my life … I still go and buy candles at the store, the fall spice candles.”
