Dan Gore has been pictured back in Man United first-team training this week, after his loan at Port Vale ended early.
Manchester United are now preparing for next season, with the Red Devils looking to return to their former glories. Sir Jim Ratcliffe and INEOS have a big task on their hands and it all starts with clearing the decks and effectively beginning again.
Preparations for next term are already well underway. Plenty of players will leave, which could pave the way for some younger footballers to grab their opportunity as the Reds look to trim down the wage bill.
One player who was on the fringes of the first-team twelve months ago was Dan Gore. However, the season started and he remained out of the loop. A loan move to Port Vale was sanctioned, though it didn’t go according to plan, making just one appearance.
The 19-year-old suffered injuries galore during that spell in League One, hence, he returned to Manchester prematurely. The United starlet has now been pictured back in first-team Reds training since, with @UtdDistrict sharing the photo.

You’d imagine that Gore, who is still only nineteen, is under serious consideration for a place in the squad next term. Casemiro could well leave. Christian Eriksen, too. I’d be surprised if the club spend money to sign two new midfield players over the next few months. Hence, Gore could be presented with an opportunity of a life time.
No doubt he’s already thinking about pre-season and making a positive impression. Gore looked great in that holding midfield role the last time he was given that opportunity. You’d like to think he’s improved somewhat since then.
Welcome back, Dan!
