Confident Chisora is convinced of who would win between Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury, if they ever fought
Derek Chisora is a long time friend of Anthony Joshua and has now revealed what he thinks would happen should he come up against Tyson Fury in a future fight.
Chisora recently shared his expert insights ahead of the highly anticipated undisputed title bout between Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury, scheduled for May 18 in Saudi Arabia.
With both Usyk and Fury being former opponents of Chisora, he’s uniquely positioned to offer his first-hand views.
Having previously trained in the same gym, ‘DelBoy’ Chisora believes that Anthony Joshua has undergone a transformation under the guidance of Ben Davison, who assumed the role of Joshua’s trainer last year.
Under Davison’s tutelage, Joshua has secured two impressive victories, including a swift stoppage of Otto Wallin and a devastating knockout of Francis Ngannou in just two rounds, most recently in March.
Confident in AJ’s current form, Chisora is convinced that with the right circumstances, Joshua would emerge victorious against Fury.
Speaking to Crypto Casino LTD, he explained why, ““I’m picking AJ over Fury all day long, if it gets made. He’s a friend and we went to the same amateur club, but his power will be too much for Fury, he’d have so much ferociousness saved for that fight, and you must remember that Ben Davison knows Tyson Fury very well, so I think AJ.”
Joshua recently teased his potential next fight but whoever faces he will be hoping to stick to his recent great form and impressive winning ways.
