Former NBA coach George Karl criticized Jamal Murray’s attitude during the 2024 Paris Olympics, highlighting his poor performance.

The Denver Nuggets star struggled throughout the tournament, averaging just 6 points per game on 29% shooting from the field and 14.3% from beyond the arc. His play was notably below his NBA averages of 21.2 points, 48.1% shooting, and 42.5% from three-point range.

Murray’s performance was a factor in Canada’s quarterfinal exit, falling to France 82-73 despite a strong start in the group phase.

Karl expressed his disappointment, stating on X, “Jamal Murray looked like a bitter, bad attitude dude in the Olympics.”
