Here’s Toronto Raptors rookie Ja’Kobe Walter on what he’s learned about the league so far (averaging 6.0 PPG/4.0 RPG/1.4 APG/0.7 TOV in 7 games).
(via Toronto Raptors):
Reporter: “Now that you’ve had a stretch of games here, what have you learned about the NBA? Or what’s the biggest difference that you’re saying, ‘This is different.’?”
Walter: “The pace of things and to have confidence. The only way to be good in the NBA is you gotta have confidence in yourself, because being in a game, it’ll show if you’re not ready. So I think just understanding that everybody’s gonna have bad games, everybody’s gonna have good games, and you just gotta go out and have the confidence in yourself is definitely something I learned.”
