This one is part of the Riyadh Season Card on DAZN P P V for the junior middleweight championship main event between Terence ‘Bud’ Crawford and Israil ‘The Dream’ Madrimov.

Both of these guys are and have been considered Top 15 heavyweights for quite some time, perhaps even Top 10 (or borderline Top 10). It is an interesting match-up between two talented heavyweights who pass the eye test, yet neither of them has fought truly elite opposition. This bout should represent a step in class for Bakole, and it will likewise represent an even bigger step in class for Anderson.
Bakole’s professional record stands at 20-1 with 15 wins coming by way of knockout. Following his only loss against Michael Hunter in 2018, Bakole has won 9 fights in a row with some good wins in the mix. In his most recent bout last October, Bakole scored a 4th round stoppage against Carlos Takam.
Anderson’s professional record is a perfect 17-0 with 15 wins coming by way of knockout. The American heavyweight has been very active since making his professional debut in 2019. In his last fight back in April, he won a lopsided 10 round unanimous decision against former cruiserweight Ryad Merhy.
