Jarred Vanderbilt had procedures on both of his feet this offseason, according to Rob Pelinka.

Vanderbilt took care of a midfoot injury on his right foot and a bone spur on his left heel.

The Lakers are optimistic that Vanderbilt will be ready by the regular season opener.

“We have a lot of optimism that when the real games start, he’ll be available. Between now and then, there is still about a month, and there are a lot of ramp up steps that need to go well, so hopefully there won’t be setbacks,” said Pelinka.
