This year saw the existing national record for goals scored in a four-year varsity career broken by Caroline Ling, the attacking midfielder from Springboro (Ohio). As it turned out, she finished as the nation’s top goal-scorer in the nation for a second straight year. Later this month, we’ll have a piece on her, and in the process, making an interesting observation about the state of girls’ scholastic sport in Ohio.

We also were able to find some numbers for another player who ascended into the top dozen or so in terms of combined goals and assists. Let’s give a shout-out to Kelly Blake, who had 667 points, which is the fifth-highest all time for a four-year varsity career. The bonus is that Blake’s scoring also led to results for her scholastic team, Medfield (Mass.). The Warriors won the state title in 2024, the second title in the last three seasons.

What you see below in the red are our usual gathering of American scholastic lacrosse statistics. We’d like to try to get most of these compiled together in one place; chiefly, MaxPreps. Keep convincing your teams, your schools, leagues, or state governing bodies to adopt the easy-to-use MaxPreps.com platform, and we encourage you to get your fellow teams to enter their information there as well as whichever is your local news site, so that we can aim for as complete a statistical picture of American girls’ lacrosse as possible.
