It’s been a year of change in the 2024 girls’ scholastic lacrosse world. Coming out of the global pandemic, we’ve seen better performances from private schools than ever before; four out of the top five for this year are prep or parochial schools.

The list is led by two schools from opposite ends of the powerhouse area of the country: Long Island for St. Anthony’s, and Maryland for Good Counsel, with New Canaan, representing Fairfield County, in third. Each of these three sides are amongst the best you’ll ever see, and the rest of the Top 10 are not far behind, believe me.
