Welcome back to our corner of statistical geekery when it comes to lacrosse statistics. This week, we’re going to give a shout to future Florida Southern player Hanna Watson. The senior, who plays for Absecon Holy Spirit (N.J.), has had a prolific career in lacrosse from both the front of the goal, but also behind it as a provider. Indeed, coming into yesterday’s NJSIAA Non-Public “B” state final against Montclair-Kimberley (N.J.) Academy, she had amassed 276 goals and 276 assists. That kind of symmetry is almost unheard of, and it is very much reminiscent of the field hockey career of Haley Schleicher, who had 200 goals and 201 assists in her outstanding career.
