The New York Knicks have officially signed forward Jacob Toppin to a two-way qualifying offer, completing their final two-way roster spot.

NBA insider Michael Scotto confirmed this signing, solidifying Toppin’s place within the organization for the upcoming season.

Toppin, 24, played sparingly for the Knicks last season, averaging 1.4 points in 4.3 minutes per game.

Despite limited playing time in the NBA, Toppin made a significant impact in the G League, where he appeared in 25 games for the Westchester Knicks.

During his time with Westchester, Toppin averaged an impressive 19.8 points, 8.6 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game. His strong performance in the G League showcased his potential and earned him this opportunity with New York.

The Knicks are looking to develop Toppin further, hoping he can translate his G League success into contributions at the NBA level.

Toppin’s signing brings additional depth to the Knicks’ roster, providing them with a young forward who has shown promise in the developmental league.
