The Los Angeles Lakers are ramping up their search for a new head coach following the dismissal of Darvin Ham, as they secure permissions to interview several NBA assistant coaches.
According to NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski, the Purple and Gold have obtained permission to interview New Orleans’ James Borrego, Denver’s David Adelman, Boston’s Sam Cassell, Minnesota’s Micah Nori, and Miami’s Chris Quinn, among others.
The vacancy left by Ham’s dismissal has sparked considerable interest, with former player JJ Redick emerging as a slight favorite for the position, according to recent reports.
