LeBron James signed a two-year extension with the Los Angeles Lakers for $101.35 million, sources told Bobby Marks of ESPN.
The deal is $2.7 million below the $104 million max. James’ contract places the Lakers below the second apron.
James will have a player option for the second season, along with a default no-trade clause.Â
The contract takes James through 23 seasons in the league.Â
