Kambosos: A Miracle Worker or One-Hit Wonder?
I closely watched Kambosos’ last three fights; I think he could need a minor miracle for him to defeat the ultra-talented Lomachenko (17-3, 11 KOs) in their 12-round headliner.
It doesn’t matter that the 30-year-old Kambosos (21-2, 10 KOs) is six years younger, bigger, and fighting at home in Australia.
Lomachenko, 36, is on a different talent level than him; based on his amateur pedigree and what he’s accomplished as a professional, this will be a walk in the park for him over Kambosos.
The only notable win in Kambosos’ career came against Teofimo Lopez, and that was just dumb luck on his part. He stumbled into a situation where he fought a guy who was fighting at basically 50% capacity that night.
