Man United have a watchful eye on Crystal Palace winger Eberechi Eze, though signing the Englishman is dependent on a big-name sale.

Manchester United Football Club is an ever-changing landscape at the moment, both on and off the field. The Red Devils have new owners and could soon be on the hunt for a new manager. INEOS are always on the lookout for new potential signings, too.

The latest rumour links Crystal Palace’s Eberechi Eze with a move to the Theatre of Dreams.

It’s Football Transfers with the story, who state that United are ‘closely monitoring’ the 26-year-old Premier League star who has been playing some superb football for Palace over the last few seasons.

However, sources have told Football Transfers that any potential move for Eze would be dependent on a ‘significant’ sale first. The attacker has a £60m release clause, which is currently out of reach for United.

Football Transfers believe that the two players most-linked with a United exit are none other than Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford. If either were to leave, then the club would be able to afford Eze.

United are ‘attracted’ to Eze due to his versatility, with the player capable of playing either left-wing or in the #10 position, fittingly, both positions occupied by Rashford and Fernandes.

The Reds are keen to bolster their attacking options, which makes sense given the inconsistent outputs in that area of the field so far this season. There’s no doubt that Eze would add an awful lot of quality to the squad if he were signed.

There were rumours suggesting Antony could be used as a makeweight in the deal to sign Eze, though Football Transfers have quashed those stories, claiming Palace have no interest in signing the Brazilian.
