Lisandro Martinez has been hit with yet another injury, as his bad luck continues.

Manchester United’s injury problems are not letting up. The Red Devils have been hit extremely hard by treatment table woes this weekend and just when it feels like the club are getting a player back, another one goes down with a fresh problem.

Lisandro Martinez only made his return at the weekend, coming on for 20 minutes against Brentford. However, he has now been ruled out of action yet again.

United confirmed the injury blow via their website yesterday evening, with the key star picking up a month-long calf injury in training.

Apparently, Martinez has been hit with a calf strain and he’s now unavailable for at least the next handful of games, including fixtures against both Chelsea and Liverpool. He will also miss the FA Cup semi final.

The concerns with Licha are now starting to rise. He has been an unbelievable player for this club when available for selection. However, he’s barely played this term and when he does return, he’s out again shortly after.

At what point are we allowed to question his durability?

The 26-year-old must be concerned about his own body holding up at this point, while it’s particularly disappointing as he was just so good during his debut campaign.

I’m also not sure it’s just a Martinez issue, with Victor Lindelof also out for a month with a muscle problem. It’s just far too coincidental at this stage. I’ve genuinely never known anything like this at one of the biggest clubs in the world.

Get well soon, lads.
