Manchester United were reportedly hit by a major security breach after a YouTube prankster managed to make his way into the team coach following the club’s 4-0 hammering at the hands of Crystal Palace last Monday.

United fell to a devastating loss at Selhurst Park on Monday evening but according to The Daily Mail, there were further incidents for the club after the final whistle.

The newspaper reports that there was a massive security breach involving a YouTube prankster, who found his way to the team bus after the battering.

It’s understood that Lizwani cleverly evaded security and boarded the team coach.

He was dressed in a full United tracksuit and carried a designer washbag to help further his deceptive agenda. He somehow managed to fool security before boarding the waiting bus.

Journalist Mike Keegan notes, “Mail Sport understands that, after casually taking a seat onboard the vehicle waiting to take Erik ten Hag and his team back to Manchester following a miserable 4–0 thumping a week ago, he was quickly spotted by United’s guards.”

“And in what were described by sources as ‘amicable’ scenes, he was then removed from the vehicle – but not before what is being viewed as a substantial security breach.”

Keegan explains that the incident has prompted the Premier League to notify clubs to be on high alert for a recurrence of such cases.

After he was ejected from the team bus, Lizwani was held by security until police arrived to have a word with him.

It’s believed that Palace have launched an investigation to determine how the prankster succeeded in his efforts.

CCTV footage is being examined by the Eagles to unearth the trail of events that ultimately led to Lizwani boarding the United coach.

The working theory is that he accessed the area via an exit gate which was opened after the game and then hid before eventually proceeding into the United bus under false pretences.

The Mail notes that Lizwani has a track record of gatecrashing popular events and award ceremonies.

Earlier this year, he positioned himself behind popular Oppenheimer star Cillian Murphy and producer Emma Thomas as the latter accepted an award for best film.

He has also infiltrated other events such as the FIFA Ballon d’Or, the MOBO Awards and the Brit Awards in 2022.
