Man United are now in talks with Galatasaray, over a potential loan move for Casemiro.

Manchester United Football Club have made a poor start to life in 2024/25. A poor loss to Liverpool on Sunday increased the pressure on Erik ten Hag immensely.

The player who is coming under the most stick for that result and performance is Casemiro. Honestly, he looked lost out there as the first half drew to a close. This is a five-time Champions League winner we’re talking about. That must have been tough for his ego to take.

Although many transfer windows are now shut, there are still a few that remain open – including over in Turkey.

Now, journalist Ali Naci Kucuk has provided an update on a potential exit for Casemiro.

He states that United are now ‘in talks’ with Turkish giant Galatasaray over a loan exit of the struggling 32-year-old.

According to Kucuk’s information, Casemiro is among the players Galatasaray have contacted to reinforce their midfield, with a one-year loan deal potentially in the offing.

Check out Ali Naci Kucuk’s X post on the news here:

Things would have to happen quickly as the Turkish window isn’t open for much longer, while it’s wholly dependent on what both United and Casemiro want.

Does the Brazilian want to stay in Manchester and silence his doubters? Does the club still believe in the 32-year-old? If not, then this move could be a smart one…

The issue here is that United will not be able to replace Casemiro as the UK transfer window is now shut. Letting him leave increases the pressure on Manuel Ugarte to play well and stay fit as he’d be the only player capable of starting in the defensive midfield position.

Do I think this will happen? Probably not, but never say never…
