Man United are now looking set to sell Aaron Wan-Bissaka this summer.

Manchester United Football Club are now in a situation where they have to sell before they can buy, though it’s quite clear Erik ten Hag would still like to make changes to this squad.

INEOS have bee working hard to move on from some fringe players, though the problem is that these guys are on massive wages here in Manchester, hence, they’re reluctant to depart.

One of the possible outgoing transfers of the last few weeks is Aaron Wan-Bissaka. It did look as though a move that’d see ‘The Spider’ depart from the club had fallen through. However, according to Florian Plettenberg, that may not be the case.

He states that United and West Ham United are now looking to finalise the Wan-Bissaka deal today. The negotiations are now said to be at an ‘advanced stage’ with a permanent transfer now edging closer.

A medical is planned, personal terms are agreed and a verbal agreement is in place It now feels a case of ‘when’ rather than ‘if’ in regard to this sale.

The biggest hint is that Wan-Bissaka is not with the United squad for the Community Shield later today. The Englishman is seemingly ready to make the move back to London.

For United, they’ll now go about finding a replacement for Wan-Bissaka. It does seem like a move to acquire Noussair Mazraoui could still be in the offing, with the man from Morocco viewed as someone who is a better stylistic fit for the way Ten Hag likes to play.

Hopefully, that transfer can be wrapped up at some point this week, before the Reds’ opening game against Fulham.
