Man United are yet to make their decision on Sofyan Amrabat, though they will make their minds up next week.

Manchester United’s squad could look very different next season. Erik ten Hag is now being supported by Sir Jim Ratcliffe and INEOS. Although no signings have been made so far, the signals and intentions feel positive.

One man whose future remains up in the air is Sofyan Amrabat. The man from Morocco ended the season extremely positively, leaving the door open in regard to a potential Old Trafford comeback.

Over the last 24 hours, Fabrizio Romano has provided an update on that front. He has stated that United are planning to make their ‘decision’ on signing the 27-year-old midfielder permanently next week.

The Old Trafford side still have the option to buy Amrabat, while the player is ‘waiting’ for the Red Devils to make their move.

Check out Fabrizio Romano’s X post on the news here:

Honestly, for what it’s worth, I reckon this would be an excellent piece of business at a good price. Amrabat displayed his qualities when given a real run in the side. Just look at how well he played in the FA Cup final against an outstanding Manchester City team.

Keeping Amrabat would also offer consistency in a midfield that could undergo major change this summer. Scott McTominay could go, Christian Eriksen and Casemiro, too. It just makes sense to bring back the man from Morocco on a permanent deal.
