Our player ratings from a drab 0-0 draw away at Aston Villa are now in, with the Red Devils dropping more points.

Andre Onana – Made a couple of important saves to preserve his clean sheet. Had a relatively quiet one. 6/10

Noussair Mazraoui – Continued his steady start to the season with another consistent first half performance. Came off at half-time with an injury. 6/10

Harry Maguire – Played an immense 45 minutes before he too succumbed to the injury bug. Looked like a bad one. 7/10

Jonny Evans – Rolled back the years here. Won tackles galore. Made interceptions and blocks. Even tried to get forward. Superb. 8/10

Diogo Dalot – Started at left-back once again and was given somewhat of a tough afternoon. Made a crucial block late on. 6/10

Kobbie Mainoo – Nice to see him back out there after an injury. Had a relatively quiet game. Was not afforded much space on the ball. 6/10

Christian Eriksen – An early booking meant he was constantly towing the line. Didn’t really get in possession as much as we’d have liked. 5/10

Bruno Fernandes – Hit the bar with a great free-kick. Worked hard throughout. His final ball was sometimes lacking. 5/10

Alejandro Garnacho – Just wasn’t his day in the attacking situations. Struggled to get complete control of possession and didn’t really threaten. 4/10

Marcus Rashford – Perhaps fortunate not to see red. Had a couple of half chances but that was about it. 4/10

Rasmus Hojlund – Energetic from minute one and worked his socks off. Wasn’t really presented with any goalscoring opportunities. 5/10

Subs:

Matthijs de Ligt – Did well enough. Wasn’t punished for a late mistake.

Victor Lindelof – Solid in an unfamiliar full-back position.

Antony – Created one half-chance for himself.

Joshua Zirkzee – Careless in a couple of key moments.

Casemiro – Not really involved.
