Here are our player ratings from Man United’s fourth pre-season game vs Real Betis.

Tom Heaton – Couldn’t do anything about Betis’ two goals. Wore the captain’s armband in the second half. 6/10

Aaron Wan-Bissaka – Heavily linked with a move away but started at right-back here. Perhaps could have challenged harder for the second Betis goal. 5/10

Harry Maguire – Involved in the Casemiro goal. Flicked the ball on to keep the attack alive. Defended well. Replaced at half-time. 6/10

Victor Lindelof – Also subbed off at the half as Ten Hag looks to give minutes to all his centre-halves. He did enough. 6/10

Harry Amass – A mixed first half for the young man. Allowed Betis to score down his side but more than made up for it with a lovely cross for the Amad goal. Still so raw. 6/10

Casemiro – Scored United’s third. His best display of the tour so far on both sides of the ball. 6/10

Christian Eriksen – Kept things ticking over when in possession. Always so calm on the ball. 6/10

Amad – Outstanding again. Won a penalty. Also grabbed a goal. Comfortably United’s best attacker as he continues to stake a claim for regular starts. 8/10

Scott McTominay – Always a willing presser, though his on-ball quality is often hit and miss. That continued again here. 5/10

Marcus Rashford – Lasted about an hour before going down with an injury after a blatant foul in the box. Did tuck away a first-half penalty. Looked sharp. 7/10

Jadon Sancho – Started as the striker and looked lively enough, albeit clear it’s not his natural position. 6/10

Subs:

Jonny Evans – Used all his experience when United were under the cosh as Betis looked to get back into it.

Will Fish – Continues to be given meaningful minutes during the tour. Could have a part to play in the early weeks of the season following the Yoro injury news. Booked late on.

James Scanlon – Deployed out of position at right-back again. Did enough defensively.

Sam Murray – Fortunate as his mistake could have led to a Betis penalty.

Maxi Oyedele – Cruised through the second half.

Toby Collyer – Continued to look comfortable at the heart of United’s midfield.

Antony – Displayed some nice skill and quality without really threatening. Came off after being subbed on. Probably injured as he headed straight down the tunnel.

Hannibal – Energetic as per usual. Useful in possession. Had a half-chance with a shot. Booked late on.

Mason Mount – Continues to look sharp in pre-season. Will feel like a new signing.

Ethan Wheatley – Led the line well despite largely feeding off scraps.

Sam Mather – Not enough time to mark.
