Mario Hezonja may make be seeking a return to the NBA for next season. Hezonja is a free agent after playing the last two seasons with Real Madrid.
Hezonja previously played for the Orlando Magic, New York Knicks and Portland Trail Blazers from 2015 through 2020. The 6-foot-8 wing then returned to Europe for the last four seasons.
Hezonja initially played for Panathinaikos in Greece, then moved to UNICS Kazan in Russia. For the last two years, Hezonja has played with Real Madrid in Spain.
Last season, the 29-year-old averaged 11.9 points, on 45/39/89 shooting splits. Hezonja helped Real Madrid to the best record in the EuroLeague regular season and to the EuroLeague championship game.
