Josh Maravich, a former LSU basketball player and son of the late Hall of Fame legend Pete Maravich, has passed away at the age of 42, according to an announcement from the university on Saturday night.
The LSU statement mentioned that he died at home on Friday, but the cause of death has not been disclosed.
Josh Maravich played as a reserve for LSU from the 2001-02 to 2004-05 seasons under coach John Brady. The team plays its home games at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center.
