Man United stars have made their returns to training ahead of the new campaign.

Just like that, it all starts again! It feels like yesterday a moment ago, Erik ten Hag and Manchester United were lifting the FA Cup trophy. However, it kicks off again next Monday.

The Red Devils will take on Rosenborg for their opening game of the 2024/25 pre-season fixtures on July 15th, which is now less than a week away.

On Tuesday, the Old Trafford side made their training return, as the lads began to put in the hard graft ahead of what is a season that promises so much.

Ten Hag remains in charge, with the full backing of new part-owners INEOS and Sir Jim Ratcliffe. This summer, he needs to be delivered his top transfer targets, in order to help this side move up the Premier League table.

Although there were no new faces on display in training this afternoon, it was good to see the lads getting back out there. Thanks to the official club X account for sharing the snaps!

The likes of Marcus Rashford, Andre Onana, Casemiro, Victor Lindelof and many others were spotted. Which is weird in a year where there are major international tournaments going on. For these guys, a full pre-season is a rare occurrence, so this could be key for their form.

At times like this, you’re always going to see a heavy dosage of younger players. Willy Kambwala is leading that age group, while the likes of Kobbie Mainoo and Alejandro Garnacho remain away with their countries.

For me, I am glad to see Mason Mount the most. He absolutely needs a full pre-season to put the injury woes behind him. Let’s hope the Englishman is set for a massive campaign.
