Our predicted MUFC XI vs Aston Villa is now in, with the Red Devils desperate for a victory.

Manchester United Football Club take on Aston Villa this weekend, with the Red Devils in dire need of all three points in order to ease the pressure on Erik ten Hag.

The Dutchman is no doubt feeling the heat after a tough couple of weeks. Since the 7-0 victory over Barnsley in the Carabao Cup, the 20-time Premier League champions are winless. They’ve slipped down the league table, while they’re already falling off the pace in the Europa League.

Tests do not come much tougher than a trip to Villa Park at present. Unai Emery’s men are playing some super football, while confidence will be high following a huge victory against Bayern Munich in the Champions League. There’s a real feel-good factor about the place at present.

United probably won’t be favourites whatever side they name for this one. Anyway, let’s give you the full run down and see what side we think Ten Hag will name.

Check out our predicted MUFC XI vs Aston Villa in full here:

Andre Onana will start in between the sticks here, with the man from Cameroon looking to continue his pretty good form.

Noussair Mazraoui has added real reliability to the right-back position and he will play as per usual. Begrudgingly, Diogo Dalot will play on the left-hand side of defence as he’s the only option. Both Matthijs de Ligt and Lisandro Martinez struggled in midweek, though they get the nod again.

Kobbie Mainoo should be passed fit after missing out in midweek with a slight issue, starting alongside Manuel Ugarte at the heart of midfield. Bruno Fernandes will be hoping for a better individual performance in this one.

Rasmus Hojlund scored in midweek so he will be given the opportunity to lead the line again. On his right and left respectively, Alejandro Garnacho and Marcus Rashford make up the team.

Come on you Reds!
