Our predicted MUFC XI for a crucial Premier League away game vs Brentford is now in…

Manchester United may have to end their Premier League season nigh-on perfectly in order to finish inside the Champions League places. That’s the task Erik ten Hag has to overcome, possibly to keep his job…

Brentford are our next opponents, with United visiting the Southern club in the Saturday evening kick-off in front of a packed out stadium. Win here and the pressure is heaped upon both Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa ahead of the Reds in the table.

However, United have struggled away at Brentford in the Premier League. Ten Hag’s first away game was an absolute thumping at their hands. He will be looking to put that right. The good news? Some players may be available for selection following injury.

After a fortnight break due to the international window, it’s up to the United gaffer to have his players fully ready and raring to go.

Check out our predicted MUFC XI vs Brentford in full here:

Andre Onana will start in between the sticks as per usual, with the man from Cameroon looking to continue his good form.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka plays at right-back here, with The Spider’s return from injury timely. It allows Diogo Dalot to shift over to the left-back position. This game will likely come too soon for Lisandro Martinez, so I’d expect to see Jonny Evans partnering Raphael Varane at the heart of defence.

Kobbie Mainoo has received huge praise over the last couple of weeks after his first international caps. He will start alongside Casemiro, with Bruno Fernandes completing the midfield trio.

Rasmus Hojlund is back ready to lead the line, which allows Alejandro Garnacho to move back to the right and Marcus Rashford to play off the left. This is comfortably our best front three at present.

Come on you Reds!
