Our predicted MUFC XI for the Europa League group stage game away vs Fenerbahce is now in.

Manchester United have drawn their first couple of Europa League games this term, instantly placing Erik ten Hag under pressure to deliver a result here.

Jose Mourinho will be hoping to upset that applecart and no doubt the man from Portugal has his players up for this challenge against his former side.

Expect fireworks whenever the self-proclaimed Special One is involved, so this will certainly be an intriguing encounter to watch.

Ten Hag’s squad is struck by both injury and suspension here, particularly in midfield, after Bruno Fernandes’ sending off in United’s last Europa League game.

Naming a starting line-up for this one was certainly tough, though we’ve given it our best shot. Expect minimal rotation as United look for their first win on the continent of the 2024/25 campaign. Anyway, without further ado, let’s give you the full run down.

Check out our predicted MUFC XI vs Fenerbahce in full here:

Andre Onana will start in between the sticks, with Ten Hag rarely opting to rotate his goalkeepers. The man from Cameroon will have to be on his A-game here.

Noussair Mazraoui is back earlier than we all expected which is good news, with the man from Morocco set to start at right-back here. Diogo Dalot plays in the left-back position. Lisandro Martinez and Matthijs de Ligt feels like the customary back two.

Due to injuries and suspension, the midfield pretty much picks itself. Casemiro and Manuel Ugarte will start alongside each other for the first time, with Christian Eriksen playing in that number ten slot.

Joshua Zirkzee should come in for a start here, allowing Rasmus Hojlund some rest after his return from injury. Amad will play on the right-hand side of the attack, with Marcus Rashford getting the nod over on the left.
