Our predicted MUFC XI vs Liverpool for the huge Premier League clash is now in.

Manchester United have won one and lost one of their opening two Premier League matches. The third is the biggest test so far, as Liverpool come to town.

Arne Slot’s men have won two from two as they head to Old Trafford, though fellow Dutchman Erik ten Hag will be feeling positive about United’s chances, as the performances have certainly looked better.

These rivalry games often mean form goes right out the window, though the Red Devils have done well in this fixture recently, beating Liverpool in the FA Cup en route to winning the trophy last term.

Ahead of the game, United was hit with a Mason Mount injury, while Manuel Ugarte was not registered in time to be involved. Anyway, let’s give you the full rundown of the team we think Ten Hag will opt for.

Check out our predicted MUFC XI vs Liverpool in full here:

Andre Onana will start in between the sticks as per usual, with the man from Cameroon looking to prove his worth here.

Noussair Mazraoui has looked good in the right-back position so far. He will continue. Diogo Dalot will play on the opposite flank. Matthijs de Ligt could well come in for his first start here, as Harry Maguire made a crucial mistake last week. He will partner Lisandro Martinez.

Casemiro and Kobbie Mainoo will continue to sit at the base of the midfield, with the pair complementing each other well. Bruno Fernandes will start in a more familiar #10 position here.

Joshua Zirkzee is another who makes his first United start in this crucial game. He’ll have Amad on his right and Alejandro Garnacho over on the left, with the Argentine making his first start of the season.
