Indiana Pacers veteran TJ McConnell called Aaron Nesmith the team’s Swiss Army Knife after Friday’s 116-103 Eastern Conference Semifinal Game 6 home win vs. the New York Knicks (8 points/6 rebounds/4 assists/4-8 FG).

Reporter: “Aaron obviously had the assignment on [Jalen] Brunson to start the game, but I think he has 3 offensive rebounds, one of them is a tip-out three to keep it alive at the start of the third quarter. Just what does he mean for you guys in those smaller, 50/50 kind of moments?”

McConnell: “Not only in that area, but for everything that he does, Aaron is our Swiss Army Knife. He does everything. Defensively, he was guarding Joel Embiid one time this year. He’s guarded 1-5 for us all year and does what we need him to do on that end. And his ability to shoot the ball and get to the rim is just amazing. So you can’t put a price on what he does for us, because on both ends, he’s unbelievable.”
