Bowling Green’s Alexis Mettille blasts through the Toledo block/Avery Zuercher, BGSU Athletics

Three conference leaders — Colorado State, Bowling Green and UC Davis — won their matches Tuesday in NCAA Division I volleyball.

There were just 14 matches on the schedule and not one went five sets, which means it was a rare reverse-sweep day.

Lines of the day: Lindenwood’s Rebecca Janke had 26 kills in an OVC win over Western Illinois as she hit .458 after having four errors in 48 attacks to go with a solo block.

Winthrop’s Avery Jolley had 20 of her team’s 45 kills in a Big South sweep at UNC Asheville. She had one error in 45 attacks to hit .422 and had an assist, an ace, two blocks and seven digs.
