The midfielder’s 59th-minute effort gave Jurgen Klopp’s side a 4-0 lead at Anfield. Mohamed Salah, restored to the starting lineup after last week’s touchline spat with Klopp, opened the scoring on the day. Andy Robertson and Gakpo also found the net before Elliott’s beautiful tally.
