The 2024 World ParaVolley General Assembly will be held virtually on 7 December, 2024, at 12h00 noon UTC.
We wish to reassure all members that even though we are moving forward with a virtual General Assembly, the voting on motions and the elections will be conducted under the supervision of an independent group of scrutineers so that the integrity of the outcomes is maintained.
The General Assembly meeting documents and any other relevant information has been provided to all registered official delegates electronically.
Report
The 2024 General Assembly Report, covering activities in 2022 and 2023, as well as plans for 2024 and beyond, will be available soon!
Elections
As is the case with all World ParaVolley General Assemblies, there will be elections held in 2024. The following positions are up for election:
- President (four-year term)
- Vice President (two-year term; up for election again in 2026)
- Medical Director (four-year term)
- Development Director (four-year term)
World ParaVolley encourages all official delegates to review the Position Descriptions and the candidate profiles in order to make an informed choice. The positions up for election are very important ones for the global World ParaVolley family. It is therefore extremely important that the successful candidate is able to fulfill the requirements outlined in the Position Description.
