Brian Daboll was not pleased with the Giants’ offensive output last season, so he decided to take over the play-calling.

Last year, the Giants were 30th in points per game (15.6). This year, with Daboll calling the plays, they are 30th again but are scoring just 14.1 points per game.

The Giants are 29th in yards per play (4.5) and were even more inefficient on Sunday, averaging just 2.2 yards per play.

“Certainly a tough game. Got outcoached, got outplayed,” Daboll said after the game. “We didn’t do enough offensively. Hardly had any yards, no points. Defensively, I thought we battled hard. We had two big runs in the first half and then that fourth down (pass) to A.J. (Brown). Then the game kind of got away from us. They ran the ball. Just not a good day, all the way around. No excuses. We got to play better and coach better.”

We shall see if he has any solutions.
