The Coaches Commission is opening an expression of interest for experienced and enthusiastic individuals to create its team of sitting volleyball Coach Tutors. Those selected will play a key role in delivering World ParaVolley’s new Level 1 and Level 2 coaching courses around the world over the coming years.
World ParaVolley is committed to fostering the growth and development of sitting volleyball at all levels, with a particular focus on providing high-quality education for club and national team coaches. Passionate facilitators who have a strong desire to support the development of coaches in the ParaVolley community are required to bring the practical part of these courses to life.
After the successful Level 2 pilot ran earlier in the year, the course is ready to be launched and open for candidates to apply at any time. While the reworked Level 1 is well underway and due for a pilot in mid 2025.
It is the commission’s ambition to run a minimum of Level 1 in each zone each year, and a level 2 in each zone in each four year Paralympic cycle. Coach Tutors will be trained and have all costs associated with attending a course covered, as well as being remunerated for their time.
Being a Coach Tutor
