Man United have eyes on Borussia Dortmund winger, Karim Adeyemi.

The summer transfer window is now shut, though Manchester United will be working hard behind the scenes in order to plan for the 2025 summer window.

Dan Ashworth and Erik ten Hag will be in direct contact with INEOS’ Sir Jim Ratcliffe about what sort of budget could be available, as the Dutch gaffer looks to continue to build this squad into one that fits his image.

The transfer rumours are starting early, with TEAMtalk linking the Red Devils with a move to sign Borussia Dortmund’s Karim Adeyemi.

According to their information, the Reds are ‘more likely’ to make a move to sign the player, over the likes of Premier League rivals Liverpool, who are also keen.

United’s interest in signing the 22-year-old German stems from some great form to kick off this campaign, having already scored two goals and adding two assists in the Bundesliga.

Adeyemi, a winger by trade, can also play as a striker. That versatility is probably why the Red Devils are admiring the attacker. We all know Ten Hag loves players who can start in multiple positions.

Perhaps Adeyemi has been earmarked for that right-wing role, with Antony yet to really set the world alight since his big-money move from Ajax. The German would have to compete with Amad for regular starts, which would certainly be an interesting competition.

This rumour hints that United are looking to continue getting younger all across the park, which is always a positive given the Red Devils have never shied away from trusting youth.
