Johnny Fisher reveals three reasons why he beats Alen Babic
Just days ahead of his crunch clash with ‘The Savage’ Alen Babic (12-1, 11KO), popular puncher Johnny Fisher (11-0, 10KO) has listed a trio of reasons why he believes he’ll win on Saturday night.
The powerful heavyweights will lock horns this weekend, July 6, at the Copperbox Arena in London over 10 rounds.
Fisher was awarded Best Young Boxer of the Year in 2023, after defeating all 11 of his foes and claiming the Southern Area heavyweight title, but this is his acid test against a world title contender to determine whether he belongs in the higher echelons of the sport.
The Romford Bull stated, “Three reasons I’ll beat Babic. One, my mummy and daddy will tell me off if I don’t.
“Two, I’m bigger.
“Three, it’s at the ‘Copperbosh’.
“So, you know, I better win. Otherwise, you know, it’s not gonna’ look good, bruv.”
The enigmatic heavyweight’s statement could be interpreted that he believes he will beat Babic because he has the support from his family and friends, of which there is a huge number, rapidly growing with each fight; his second point is clear – he has the size advantage; and lastly because he has the home advantage in familiar surroundings.
