Luka Doncic was reportedly “impressed” by how rapidly the Los Angeles Lakers tried to commerce for Mark Williams, sources informed Marc Stein of The Stein Line.
Doncic reportedly informed Rob Pelinka that he needed to play with a lob menace earlier than the Williams deal was initially introduced.
The Hornets haven’t formally filed a protest towards the Lakers for rescinding the commerce. Doncic isn’t dismayed that the Lakers walked away from the deal.
Williams has but to report again to the Hornets for the reason that commerce was rescinded.
