Man United-linked Tosin Adarabioyo will leave Fulham this summer, with the decision already made.

Manchester United will undoubtedly be in the market for some defensive stability this coming summer. Erik ten Hag has had zero consistency in that area of the field all season long. I’d argue it’s the position that needs it the most.

Injuries galore have decimated the Reds’ back line. Hence, signing someone who can stay fit for a full season, while putting in decent performances, is an absolute must.

Where better to look than the Premier League? It’d make the transition far more seamless – at least in theory anyway…

One man who has been linked with an Old Trafford switch this summer is Fulham’s Tosin Adarabioyo. Apparently, United have approached the pending free agent about a possible move.

Now, Fabrizio Romano has confirmed some pretty big news in regard to the Manchester-born centre-half.

According to his sources, the United-linked 26-year-old ‘will leave’ his current club Fulham as a free agent at the end of the season. It’s said the ‘final decision’ is made and Adarabioyo has already told The Cottagers of his choice.

Several clubs are said to be ‘keen’ on signing the centre-back, despite Fulham’s best efforts to keep ahold of him.

Check out Fabrizio Romano’s X post on the news here:

To me, this feels like the perfect way to kickstart the INEOS era. A free agent who can come in and make a positive impact from day one.

Adarabioyo is defensively sound. Great in the air. Tough in the tackle. Quick. Strong. What’s not to like?

United’s issue here could be beating out other potential suitors. I guess where they have the edge over the other so-called ‘top’ clubs is the fact that Adarabioyo has a genuine chance at becoming a first-team regular as soon as he walks through the door.
